The Credit Union Difference
Credit Unions are member-orientated financial institutions. We are non-profit cooperatives that are formed, owned and operated by YOU - our members. Each year the credit union membership (YOU) elects individuals from our membership to serve on our volunteer board of directors. The board of directors makes decisions for the benefit of the entire membership. Electing members of the credit union to serve on the board of directors ensures that the credit union's decisions are in the best interest of all of the members.
All credit unions are federally insured through the National Credit Union Administration. Your accounts are insured up to $100,000.00.

Who is Best Advantage Credit Union?
Best Advantage Credit Union (BACU) was founded on August 5, 1941 as the Brillion Iron Works Credit Union with an Industrial/State charter. We were established to provide financial services to employees of Brillion Iron Works. In January 1979, the Credit Union obtained a community charter, meaning we could serve anyone in the community, and changed our name to Brillion Area Credit Union.
In August of 1992 we extended our services with a branch office in Sherwood and in 1995 we changed our name to Best Advantage Credit Union (still BACU) to relate better with our expanded charter-our name may have changed but our service and mission hasn't.
Our purpose is to foster the ideas of cooperation in our community for the financial benefit of all of our members while maintaining long term stability of the credit union. Our philosophy is "Putting People First"! Our members needs are most important to us and we strive to give our members the service that they deserve.
Best Advantage Credit Union is YOU!
