What exactly is Pay@home?
Pay@home is a quick and convenient way for you to pay your monthly bills online.

Is there a fee for using Pay@home?
Pay@home is a FREE service for members of Best Advantage Credit Union.

Will Pay@home work from my computer?
All you need to use Pay@home is:

  • An Internet Connection

  • Internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater, Netscape Navigator 4.0 or greater, or America Online 4.0 or greater. (If you would like to download Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads.)

  • We recommend setting your screen resolution to 800 x 600 and your color settings to 16 bit. You must also have cookies enabled.

How do I sign up to use Pay@home?
If you are a member of Best Advantage Credit Union and have a checking account with us, you can sign up right now!

It’s easy. Stop at one of our offices or call BACU for an application.

What can I do once I am connected to Pay@home?
You can pay virtually anyone, day or night, while foregoing the rising cost of stamps and the time it takes to write out your checks by hand!

  • Make single payments that vary in amount on an as-needed basis (baby-sitter, service shop, dentist)

  • Schedule recurring payments of the same amount (mortgage, car insurance, personal loan) to save you even more time. Just set up your payment schedule once and forget about it!

  • Track and view your payment history

How can and should payments be scheduled?
You can schedule a bill payment(s) to be processed on the current day, a future date, or recurring on the same date each month.

Payments can only be processed on business days (Monday through Friday) irregardless as to the date for which you have scheduled them. If the scheduled bill payment date is on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be processed on the previous business day.

Payments can be scheduled to be processed on any future business day within 1 year from the date you set up the payment.

When will the withdrawals post to my account?
Although payment will be sent on the date you request, in most cases the funds will not be debited from your account until the following processing day.

How long will it take for the payee (recipient) to receive their payment?
Payments should be scheduled no less than five business days prior to the bill’s due date to ensure they are received on time.

How many bills can I pay per visit, per day, per month, etc?
The amount of bills you can pay on any given basis is unlimited.

Can payments be sent to anyone, anywhere?
Payments can be made only to payees with a U.S. payment address.

Is my account information secure?
BACU provides you with the highest security for your account and personal information.  There are many layers of security to ensure your information is safe.  High security firewalls, encryption, your personal access and password, and automatic logoff are in place to protect your information.

What is my Login?
Your login is assigned by the credit union when you open your bill payer service.

Can I change my password?
Yes. You must change your password the first time you sign onto Pay@home. If you would like to change your password any time after that, simply click on the Preference button on the left side of the page; then click on the Password tab. Remember - your password should have a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 characters, and is not case sensitive.

What if I forget my password or am locked out of the system?
To gain access you will have to call Best Advantage Credit Union at 1-800-772-3116.

How long can I be online?
There is no time limit on Pay@home.  For security purposes however, you will automatically and by default be logged off your session after 10 minutes of inactivity.  If this occurs, you will be back at the original sign-in page of Pay@home. Once you have signed up for Pay@home, you have the option to reduce the amount of time you can remain inactive before being logged off.
